Passover was the celebration that God brought the Israelites out of Bondage in Egypt. A reminder that it happened. If you remember The only way and the final straw no pun intended to save The Israelites on that night was Lambs Blood placed on the door posts...those that did not were open to the Pestilence killing the first born males. Was The Key The Blood or the Israelites. Exodus 12 tells us about Offereing a Lamb and about placing its Blood on The Door Posts and about Kosher Matzoh to be eaten.
